Alright, so if you're reading this, you've probably heard of last yera's roommate. Nothing serious, but whatever.
This year I'm in a 4 person suite, split by a bathroom. Two people per room, and I'm with a friend I made last year. We're getting along quite nicely, no issues. However, one of our suitmates happens to be friends with my roommate, and he's now my friend too. At any rate, he'll come to our room, knock (usually) and then the trouble begins. He sits down on my roommate's bed, or sometimes in his chair.
Ordinarily, most people would ask to sit down, especially if you're sitting in a brand new chair. Sure, it's not a huge deal in and of its self, but therein lies the problem. We're not positive this kid uses soap, or even wipes his rear when he uses the bathroom (and he does this quite frequently..5-6 times per day, just while we're in the room, isn't too out of the ordinary). This causes my roommate's stuff to smell, and definitely not in a pleasant way. The smell is quite noticeable (again, in a bad way), so does anyone have ideas on how to improve the situation? We Febreeze the spots he sits on, and my roommate has washed several things in their own load just to get the smell out. We don't want to be assholes to the guy, I mean, he did get us a good dorm location.
