Well lately I've been hearing people on Xbox Live using slang terms, such as "Later." "'sup?" "My homies!" and on and on.

What do you think about slang? Do you use it often? I do. :)

Not often, especially not the word homies and things.

I prefer to speak properly.

Not really, occasionally when speaking to Americans or other non English people on MSN I'll use colloquial English words they don't understand. That's probably the closest to using slang I come to.

I almost never use slang, i9n real lfie or the internet. I really only use it when I want the conversation over quickly.

I think slang is basiclly what 10-years olds say so they sound gangster.

Well I cant say since I dont Have a Xbox.

But on online mmorpg, I HATE when people says ''sup'' and stuff. It just make you look like a true idiot. Go back to school ?

The only I use is ''Cya'' or ''Wazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzap''. Other than that, Its just annoys me lol.

Same here, though I do use "s'up" a lot. :(
Whenever I do hear it, it makes me laugh. There was a rather loud "rude-boi" on tv the other night; he was using all this chav-slang and I was laughing my head off. XD

WZZUP , INIT BRUV!??!!

On the net I really don't use any slang except maybe k or sec.

IRL we talk normal except for some terms we use but in the end its all the same.

The sandbox was very rarely used by moderators, site owners and admins, it was used by the regular member to have "fun". Flame baiting, spamming or whatever, I think it would have been only fair to ask what everyone else thought first. Regardless of the outcome, it would have been a lot less selfish (because removing it like this is) and would have gotten a much better response.

I try to use slang sometimes because it helps me understand the language better, but I refrain from using some of the.. less cool phrases. So, um, don't count on me calling any of you "mah homiez" anytime soon. [-X
