What if we had to record our replies as..

What if we recorded all of our replies/topics as videos? Do you think that you'd have the same impressions of your friends (or people who you don't particularly like.. no names though)? Do you think that you'd act differently since people could see your face and hear your voice (be totally honest about this).

I would be a lot more nervous, but it'd be pretty interesting/cool to interact with everyone here if I could see what they looked like and how they talked. You get such a different sense of someone's personality from video compared with just text.

What do you think?

I like your question, though. It would be a great way to find out how much time we are on RsBandB. I don't think we would have the exact same impressions on people, but it wouldn't change that much. I wouldn't act different, though.

Imagine Creepy making a video. :lol:

I know it couldn't realistically be done. It's a hypothetical world where we all own webcams and I sit on a throne of chocolate that doesn't melt or something.

Doubt it'd go down to well. Probably just be me chair surfing cause I'd not have anything else to say..that would be pretty funny, flying past and just a big crash.

I actually think it sounds pretty fun, would certainly liven up discussions and would put a stop to the people who like to type sarcastic insults behind the safety of their keyboards but would never do it to somebody's face (as it were). I'd be willing to do it.

well half of the people here would never reply. I wouldn't care to be honest. i have to get in front of a camera for tv production almost every day. most of the time its something stupid happening to someone but, its almost the same.

I'm not sure if I would be competely honest, cause with this everyone can talk openly and freely, instead of getting the finger to the face if they say something someone else doesn't like. Here you can just do this or something:

Withour text I don't think there would be half as many topics and replys on the site.

I think it's a good idea, can't be implemented mind you, but it's still be good. People woulnd't bother posting a load of crap , they'd only ever post stuff that was intresting, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it.

If you created a youtube site and then added areas much like forum areas for it. Off topic, runescape media, runescape discussion and stuff and allowed people to upload there videos, you'd create a video forum. o.0

Course it'd cost a fortune. Certainly isn't something a simple fansite could afford i guess.

It wouldn't cost a thing. We'd be able to do it now. Just record yourself on your webcam, put it onto youtube as a private video (that is, one that can be linked or embedded, but does not appear in any searches or anything), and post the video in here. It would be easy.

As for what I think about the idea, I think it could actually work, and would be pretty interesting.

Obviously it would be hard to censor stuff out, and I would of course end up swearing. I'm always swearing :oops:

I would act the same. I think sometimes my expression is misinterpreted when just reading my words so it could possibly be an improvement for me.

exactly how i feel. i tend to say things a certain way so everyone sees what im talking about, and they usually see that im right :wink:

but really, maybe ppl would for once think, oh, he makes a valid point about rap music :mrgreen:
