The clover looks pretty good. Make sure you find a good studio! The worst thing you'd want is an infection and a piece of crappy art thats a part of you forever. Here some tips for finding a studio:

A good studio should:

- Hold a health board certification.

- Wear single use medical gloves

- Throw out all needles and single use items in a proper BIOHAZARD DISPOSAL CONTAINER

- Have a WORKING hospital grade autoclave (high pressure/heat sterilizer) and/or chemiclave (chemical sterilizer).

- Wipe down all surfaces that you will touch with a HOSPITAL GRADE ANTISEPTIC.

- Explain proper aftercare (care during healing time) procedures and answer concerns you may have regarding tattoos or aftercare.

- Keep you entertained during the tattooing process especially if its a long one. (Optional but always great) Most of them will let you listen to music, read books or even watch movies if they have a DVD player on site.

- Show you all the tools used before the acual process.

- Give you a room with just you and the artist for maximal privacy.


A good studio should NOT:

- Tattoo while drunk etc

- Reuse needles

- Reuse gloves or not wear gloves at all

- Hire untrained or underage artists

- Tattoo or perform any procedure on minors without consent.

- Tattoo or perform any procedure on anyone that they suspect is drunk etc

- Give something other than what you asked for.

- Refuse to explain aftercare procedures.


Hope that helps. It seems like I know alot, but I have no tattoos currently. I just know alot about body art. Happy tattooing!
