Petition for banning of dihydrogen monoxide

There is a petition to ban or strictly control this dangerous chemical for a number of reasons.

Dihydrogen monoxide
1. can cause excessive sweating and vomiting
2. is a major component in acid rain
3. can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
4. accidental inhalation can kill you
5. it contributes to erosion
6. it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes
7. it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients
8. it is highly addictive

Alert your friends about it. It has many dangerous side-effects, and it is still widely used.

I for one agree, that substance should be banned altogether. I sign.But due to that fact that I regrettably know what that is, I say that said comment is 100% sarcasm. Dam Uni level Chem Class

Yes I have this seen many times, those who don't catch on right away usually spoil it. Dihydrogen monoxide, more commonly know as water or H2O, it's completely true word. Dihydrogen, the Di meaning that there is two hydrogen (H2) monoxide, the Mono meaning there is one oxygen(O). It's just a more fancy way of saying it.

Another way to say H2O is Hydrogen oxide.
