Haha, some of these are very tricky.

"7) Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present. "
 This one, for me, was most hard.

I'm just glad I'm English, so I didn't have to actually learn the language. It's a stupid language as well if you ask me, especially when you look at them.

English is a language that breaks all of its own rules for no reason

6) The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert.

That one confused me for a few seconds; when I was younger I always got "desert" confused with "dessert". :P

Nothing fools me! I learnt most of the english language at a very early age, so I know how to write and pronounce sentences like that.

Every one should just forget English and learn Spanish! At least they don't have words that are spelled that same but sound slightly diffrent or mean diffrent things. Maybe even Japanese or Chinese. But not French. I can't pronouce the sounds right. I can speak very little spanish, some chinese and I know how to say a phrase in japanese.

I know chinese from the chinese teacher.

Peng you:friend<-- Meaning
(pang yo) <-- Pronuciation

Ni hao: hello
(Nee how)

Ni jiao she meh ming zhu: what is your name?
(nee jow sheh meh ming zu)

Or jiao (name): my name is...
(or jow)

Xi jin: goodbye
(sigh jin)

Or ai ni:I love you
(or i nee)

I know one phrase in japanese but I won't post it because it translates to cursing.

English is supposedly to be the hardest language to learn if it isn't your first language.

Glad I have English as my first language, as it seems to rule throughout the entire world.

I heard it is one of the easiest to learn to speak, but one of the hardest to learn to write.r

Here's something interesting: English is the only language in which a house can burn down while it's burning up.

Yeah, English isn't very hard to speak, but it's a lot harder to read and write it. It's like that with a lot of other languages though.

It is easier to learn as a second language when you are younger.

Well I dont think its really hard to speak English. As many know, English is not my first language. I started to learn it when I was 10 year old. Yea, I know Im not perfectly talking English, But I have to say it's kind of easy to learn, And many people agree there, It's one of the easiest language to learn.

I have to say French is probally one of the hardest as it's got probally the highest number of punctiation, verbs according, etc.

English is not really hard to learn. But I have to agree, Its harder to write than speaking.
