Guess who i get to meet...

For my 18th birthday my parents are taking me to Washington D.C.. So i called my congressmen so see if he could get me tickets to tour the Capitol Building, and after talking to his seccutary for 20mins she said he would like to wish me happy birthday while i was in town, so when i go pick up the tickets i get to my my congress men for my area.

What should i wear, and what should i say if he ask me a political question. He is a hard core democrat and im sure hell ask me what i think about Irag. Should i tell the truth or lie?

Wear a nice suite and be truthful, your opinion will be respected even if it's not the same as what he believes.

Hey, when are you going? Because I'm taking a trip to DC and New York in a few weeks and I'm planning on visiting the capital and other historic sites of that sort.

As for what to say, I would simple state my own opinion. If he is opposed to it, then he probably has enough decency to, at least, respect your viewpoint and respect that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I'd go with Mushroom Queen on this one you don't want to be to formal. And if you want to talk politics maybe get some ideas together and word them out before you meet him that why you don't sound like a complete idiot. Not saying that you are, but just so you sound like you know what your talking about. Or maybe he just wants to talk about you and your birthday.
