Xbox 360

I want to get one, but I can't decide. The green box 360 ($299.99) I've heard is not backwards compatible. I need that, but I'm not 100% sure if it's true.

So I'm deciding between the $299.99 Xbox or the $399.99 Xbox. Is it worth it to spend the extra $100?

Also, what are some good upgrades I can get for it?

Also, you need Xbox Live!!!!! WE can play gamez togeter nd ugh... chat n stoof.

With Gears of War of course. Best game till Halo 3@@@

Twas playing BF1242. I only got off for like 30 minutes.

I may get live, after buying A $400 Xbox plus games and stuff I'll be broke. It will probably take me a week to get enough money to buy a year of Xbox live, but then yes, I will play Gears of War with you.

I got the harddrive for backwards compatibility for my core system, but the only game that even works from Xbox is Halo 2... Otherwise it tells me to get this thing online, which I tried, but to no avail.

I've had the same problem with my old xbox games =\ none of them work too well except Halo(s) and such.
Of course, it doesn't help my original xbox died >.>

Get one if you can get your mum to buy adult rated games, they're the only ones worth buying imo, except for the occasional game like Viva Pinata.. XD

Avoid the Elite, unless you have a HDTV and even then it's not needed unless you're a big detail freak.

Get premium avoid core, it's useless.

I've yet tohave any problems playing my xbox games on it..although looking at that list there are a few that wouldn't work. Thankfully, that's why i kept my old xbox.

I would suggest getting the premium as the core doesn't come with that many features so therefore it's pretty much useless. As I read on game informer

, most games from xbox would not work on the xbox 360 core so that's why people would most likely get the premium. But if you want something on the edge, just go buy yourself a ps3 :lol:

I suggest premium too. If you bought the core and wanted to buy the Hard Drive,headset,wireless controller, and everything else the premium comes with you would spend more money in the long run.

Get the Premium of course, by the time you buy everything you didn't get with the Core, you've spent over $100. Then, you must buy Gears, The Darkness, and Oblivion. And then get Live and add me.
