So your the president of the United States of America and your presented with this evidence. Nato as a pact is ready to wage war with iran to stop shipment of arms to Taliban in irag. Do you order troops to cross the Iragi border for an invasion of iran?

A-I would give Iran a time line to stop shipment of weapons to Irag. Order him to allow NATO inspectors into iran to inspect there nucular facilities. Of acource he will refuse. I would then order air strikes on High Value targets within iran.

The air strike would be good. I think that we should go to Iran until the war in Iraq and Afghanistan (yeah remember we are there too) is over.

I believe that the other countries should be able to hold there own against Iran until we go there.

Look at it at this point of view. Without Iran insurgents would have no/limited weapons. The United States currently has two Nimitz class carriers in the Persian Gulf testing irans Radar. Iran has a medium sized airforce with aging planes, were talking about 1970 F-14a tomcats which we gave them. Iran is the Heart in the war on Terror. So Stab the heart kill the body, slow down the war in irag.

well honestly there is nothing bush can do. the war is so unpopular that there is no way we can invade iran. if we do we would be completely... well you know.

even though i don't like bush, i feel sorry since right now he's really in between a rock and a hard place. then again they could always erect a wall all around iraq.

We cant even build a wall from California's to Texas for the Illegal Aliens. I agree with you as for Bush. I would hate to think i would be more unpopular for trying to stop our troops from being killed by another country....

yeah but how many people in america would care about a wall that went up half a world away? there's a wall in Israel and most of us don't care.

It's never really been a liked country so i doubt it makes a major difference the one major difference is you wont get British support on it if you went and while I'm sure American news rarely if ever covers the British side of the war there but we played a large part in taking Iraq and a very large part in trying to fix it again.

So if you went to war with Iran, it'd be tough, While i want Iran blown to **** i don't think America should do it. They'd be better off trying to find ways to simply stop them smuggling weapons in although that would be pretty in affective but it's the only solution i know of. XD

Yeah, but I mean in Vietnam, the death toll was what 50,000 USA troops and like over a couple Million Vietnamese's?

Also, that is a perfect reason why we shouldent pull out of Iraq right now. Did you know that since we pulled out of Vietnam, over 1 Million Vietnamese's got slaughtered?
