American's are NOT stupid (not a Flamming post at all!)

Americans are NOT stupid.

I am writing this to show people that Americans have great inventors. I did not just go off to a site and copy and past. I spent time writing this, well not that much since I need to go in a few minutes. I am not trying to make a bug deal out of this, but I am just trying to inform people.

George Washington Carver - This man was born in Missouri, He was the FIRST black student in his school. He discovered hundreds of uses for the peanut, Soybeans, and Pecans. He invented dyes, pigments, and rubber substitute’s just to name a few.

Albert Einstein - He wasn’t born in America, but he was still an American regardless. As we all know he can up with the equation E=MC(Sq) He also informed president Roosevelt that Germany was developing nuclear weapons and we should do the same.

Dr. Robert K. Jarvis - He developed the artificial heart called Jarvik 7 in the 1970’s. This heart saved the life’s or extended them of many patients in the 70’s when no one have even heard of a “fake heart”.

Garrett Augustus Morgan - He was the first person to patented the traffic signal, which he later sold to General Electric for $40,000, which was incredible sum of money since he was a black man and it was the 1920’s. He developed the smoke protector for fire fighters which saved many fire fighters life’s. And for all you women, or men with curly hair, he invented the hair straitened, and de-curling hair combs!

Bill Gates - Yes, we all know Bill gates. He and partner invented Microsoft Corporation and software. For what I know about him we worked of his computer making in his garage. His family wealth is second in the world rating at an estimate of $53 Billion! Without him computer technology probably wouldn’t be were it is today.

Thomas Edison - He had the most patients ever in American History. He made the telephone, and he also made the movie projector, and then later added sound!!!

Benjamen Franklin - Discovered that lightening was electricity and that it could be controlled. It was also not a force from God to punish the unworthy.

Albert Einstein wasn't an American therefore he can't be part of the equation.

Infact he came up with the theory that energy has mass while still in Germany.

I don't know why people go out of their way to say, "WE AMERIKANS R NOT STOOPID". Do you see me posting threads saying, "GERMANS RNT NAZIES NE MORE". I don't feel a need to post about these things because I'm confident and secure in who I am and where I'm from. If you need to have people reply to support you about the things you say, then more power to you.

Plus, if I remember correctly, the original post was regarding Americans in modern times. I believe only two of the people on your list are actually still living.

Totally agree with MQ. People could call the British all the names under the sun and it wouldn't bother me. I have no problem with people insulting my country, or people. Be it with or without justification.

Oh, and there is at least one name on your list that could be questionable, if we're really talking about "intelligence".
