Not to be a back seat Moderator or anything but this topic seems to have gotten off topic and (atleast to me) has atleast one, if not more, embers glowing.
The original question and discussion:
Ranging God wrote:
Since ya dont believe in God, or a God(s) How do you believe we got here and do you think there is a reason we are here? Also what happens when we die?
(and I am not one sided, I was a Atheists for many years)
I think everyone here knows that this thread now belongs to the topic of "What made the world, Evolution or God?". I could put many other titles to the current argument but I won't, as that would draw this even further off topic.
Since Christians aren't atheists, this topic really doesn't apply to them. Even if something in this topic does annoy you it shows you're a better person when you close the tab/window or go back to the index.
There's no point in discussing the creation of the world because nobody can prove one way or the other (Listen Creationists
and Atheist/Evolutionists). Neither side can give solid evidence. Neither side was there when time began so we have no eyewitnesses. Scientists can say they've found such and such evidence and Creationists can say that the evidence supports their idea better but
it doesn't matter.
We'll find out who was right when we cease to breathe.
If there is no 'afterlife' then we will know by not knowing anything that there really was no God, however it still doesn't prove whether evolution was correct or not.
If there is a 'Heaven' and a 'Hell' then we will know because some of us will be in Heaven while others will be in Hell. If there is a Heaven then evolution is wrong and a God who created it is right.
But we can't know for sure either way until we die. After we die we can't relay the information back to living humans so the argument NEVER ENDS.I didn't want to get into another Creation vs. Evolution discussion again because they usually end in a flame war, which is one reason why I think this topic should either get back to the original question or die.
