If I consume meat, it will make me sick.. I will throw up for hours..

Is that why you are a vegetarian? or are you now becoming sick when you eat meat because you have been a vegetarian so long? maybe in your mind you cant stand the thought of eating an animal and that makes you puke lol.

like trekkie said, if you dont eat meat for a long time your body is not ready to consume it so it rejects it. if thats not the case there is something else wrong with you. :S

I haven't ever been sick, and yet I eat all four food groups regularly. Interesting.

Yeah, ok.

that is because the dishes you were served were ill prepared and the chef does not care about the taste. But then again if you don't like chinese food then you wouldn't like the dishes there anyway. the stuff i eat really does taste like the real thing at least some of them and this is coming from a guy who loves meat. remember that

Well actually out jaw and teether evolved to eat meat. Humans were originally only herbivores.

yeah we evolved which means we were suppose to eat mammoth meat for thousands and thousands of years. but since they died out we had to adopt to each other sources of food.

Alright, I'm going to step in the 5 foot deep puddle that is this discussion.

I don't know why people think that the way that human beings were is a good thing. Just because humans were vegetarians at the time doesn't mean that it is our ideal diet that we should revert back to. In fact, if we ate the exact same things we ate those thousands of years ago then we'd probably be malnourished since there weren't lovely varieties of vitamin-rich veggies that we pick up at the market. Think about it back then.. when humans were primate-like and they had their appendices to digest vegetation. They were herbivores out of necessity since they couldn't very well go and make steak and eggs.

Humans adapted to eating meat because it obviously offered them the energy that green-growth on bushes couldn't. It's one thing to say that eating meat is morally wrong, or barbaric. But strictly speaking, humans adapted to eat meat because it had an advantageous result.

Indeed. Vegetarians have to eat pills to get their nutrients that can't be found in vegetables, but meat-lovers don't have to.
