I dont think its really necessary to say things like "just some low life idiot that will never go anywhere in life except in a ditch". Not everyone is going to grow up to be President of a country or a brilliant scientist, and I highly doubt you would either, but as long as they stay true to themselves and live their lives the way they see fit, whats the problem? You may not like it, but thats their choice to make in regards to what they wear, listen to, and follow. Not yours.

It's an act. They aren't really gangstas. So they aren't staying true. There conning idiots into thinking there hard gangstas so it's 'cool' to buy there songs.

Not one of the normal idiots around here would buy 50cents songs if he wasn't known to be a 'bad boy gansta who's been shot 8 times'

The act they put on is what annoys everyone. It's the fact they pretend to be something they're not. They write songs about how hard there life is, I'm sure it's terrible living in a mansion and having millions, fans, friends, family and all that.

Such a hard life, the life of a gangsta.

Rap: Not singing, talking. Using computers to make sound. No soul. No impressiveness. Listen to a rap song and you cant go "wow. thats amazing" - its just not possible.

Rock: Singing. Using pure skill and talent to make sound, pouring your soul into the music. Some songs you can turn round and say "f*cking wow... thats amazing". Anyone who has heard Metallica's S&M album, or Dragonforce's song Fury of the Storm will know exactly what im talking about.

Rap doesnt deserve to be called music.

Well i see your point, and do agree that it is there choice because it is their life.. When i say they wont go anywhere in life, i know that of course, they wont be president or some classy scientist and so on.. I also dont mean that you have to have a high class job to actually go somewhere.

The certain people that do act like that however, tend to just abuse there bodies, doing nothing but drugs, and wasting their life, yes its their choice, but not a really good one. They arent really going anywhere in life, they sit around on their butts, not contributing much to society, if at all.

Im not going to stop them for doing it, its their life. I just think they could do better being someone they truely aren't. Why waste your life, high, drunk, slowly dying on the inside because you sit around, getting high 24/7 and doing nothing. Most of these types of people just cause trouble, end up murdering people, or robbing places. That is the life of a person that goes no where.. Of course, not all wanna be rap gangstas are like this.

The worst of them all, the ones that really **** me off the most, is ones that go around saying f**k you white people you had us as slaves and blah blah blah and so on.. Those idiots need to just shut up, it was the white americans back when slavery was around that had blacks as slaves. Now these 12+ black kids and adults try to turn around and do the whole sob story of slavery.. Those people are prolly worse than the gangsta wanna-be rappers.

i doubt most rappers would know anything about slavery at all, since "most" (i'm not stereotypical...) rappers get kicked out of school or haven't gone to school at all

Yeh, but, 'tallica and Dragon Force are metal, not rock.

Also Dragon Force are just a young Iron Maiden with an awful singer.

I love rock....

But the old rap ( 80's and 90's ) is still pretty good, before the Rapers pure 99999999999999000000 different cuss words into there songs and express how they hate cops for arresting them for "doningnothing"( which they did something but they want to get away with everything )

Ok I would totally have to agree on this one.They don't know nothing about being disrespected by other people and even getting killed because of who you are. One word: Holocaust.

I don't consider rap to be music, and I most certainly don't like it. I think people nowadays are liking it because everyone else is, not because they actually LIKE the music. And what makes me laugh is when you see rap songs on commercials and TV shows. People listen and like the beat, but they don't listen to the lyrics. Explicit lyrics that certainly aren't appropriate for kids, and that you most certainly wouldn't find on everday CBS.

Oh, and of course I like rock. Classic hard, modern, heavy metal, etc.

I know what you mean but what about 2pac? He got shot in the head...
