Beats me. I just notice a lot of people drinking it lately. I wouldn't call it a fad i can't think of any drink here that's ever become a fad. I know mountain dew is taking another shot at the market after failing to break through in the 90s. Wont be there usualy fizzy crap tho it's another energy drink.

Well, Monster was really the first energy drink to make it big in the USA besides Redbull, and that was like 3 years ago. I remember EVERYONE would get Monsters, they were being asold out and stuff. I never liked them, they made me sick =\ I'm a Amp guy ;p

Lucky you guys over in US. The one thing i miss over there is the 1 litre monster energy cans. Dumb aussies can only sell over here in 500ml size (max). But we do have these monster energy shots. It's all of the liquid energy in a normal sized can packed into a small tube :mrgreen:

Yeah...you only get 500ml ones here as well. 1litre seems a bit too much for an energy drink.

edit: You know it's not monster. I stopped off in tescos on the way home and realized i was talking about this;

I now have one sitting on my desk waiting to be drunk.

Do you guys have Bawls or Amp there? I remember when Bawls came out, everyone was like "yooo wanna sip on my balls?" yea... But they were fantastic.
