I´d go for Jesus being the most well known person even if though it´s not proven that he actually did any of the stuff the bible said he did.

Yes, Jesus works- real or not, he's definitely "recognisable". And the same for Santa as well. I would say "all fictional characters"- but I don't think anyone's going to suggest any (expect Pikachu lol).

I would say Jesus doesn't count because no one knows what he looks like. Yeah there are pictures of him but they are all just guesses. He was actually most likely dark skinned and a lot different than most people imagine him as.

I would say the most recognizable person would probably be Ronald McDonald. Yes, he's not a "real" person per say, but there is a guy in the costume.

Hitler too though. This is ironic because I JUST went to the Holocaust Museum in DC 2 days ago. I think everyone would recognize Hitler just because he took torture to a new level. Ever since the beginning of time people have tortured one another but what he did is crazy to even think about. I'm not saying things like this have never occurred, but his is the most memorable world wide. And I mean, who can forget that mustache?

Ummm...THE POPE? Yah there have been many popes, but they all serve the same person so you can kinda count it as 1 person. Just the name

Seriously. Family Guy is so popular that it's honestly hard to find someone who doesn't watch it on Xbox Live, or on a public forum. I love the show, but I hate it when people go around quoting an episode, it's really annoying.

id have to say hitler is the most famous. out of all thats been said i remember hitler the most and it was world wide known.

2nd id have to say jesus. most of the people know about him.
alittle off topic: the reason theres not much proof of him is cause this was back when history wasnt writen down alot. or alot of the history was lost. There are probably pictures of him but who can totally pick a picture from history and be like hey that was jesus. If hitler was back in that time would you really think he would be remembered? 2000 years back?
