Rhetorical question... Do you at least admit that the son was ****ed up to begin with?

I'd imagine so, which leads to Brad's original statement on how the father can also take part of the fault. When your kid is threatening suicide, you don't just sit around and do nothing about it. A decent parent will attempt to find help for their child, whether it be by counseling, classes, or perhaps sending them away somewhere which they can be helped. If a parent doesn't take the necessary steps to help their child, things like this can happen.

Wow, it's sad how wrapped up in the internet some kids can be.

I blame it on all three.

The Mom: His mother was not worried, or even shocked, when she found out that her son was obviosly depressed. She did nothing to help him, or find out the reason for his depression.

The Father: Same reason as the mother, but also, he never should have just left his shotgun in the garage.

The Son: Obviosly, he was depressed. And quite dumb. Why did he shoot his dad without even imagining if he would miss him.

All in all, its the dads fault. More so than the others, I mean.

MESA, ARIZONA. That's where I live. WTF.

Anyways, people shouldn't become too attached to the things they like to do.
(Don't get on about me and CS:S I haven't played for over a week and I'm fine.)

I take offence to that. Firstly, you're using geek as a derogatory term when many people on these forums and the internet wear it as a badge of pride. You can't go around calling people geeks as an insult when you're on the internet. We run the place.

Second, no, he probably wasn't a geek. Firstly, he doesn't look like one, second, true geeks have a tendency to hate myspace.

As for where the fault lies, it is a combination of the three. The parents should have tried to help, but shouldn't have banned it, but the son should have tried to curb his addiction.

Apparently that kid hasn't matured yet to know that killing someone over trivial things is not wise, at all.

He was probably a heavy gamer, and thought that his dad would respawn or his health would come back within a few seconds.
