As much as I hate to go off topic, I don't think your estimate of sending/receiving 12,000 texts a month is accurate.. that'd be like sending/receiving a text every 3 minutes for the entire month, plus it'd cost you an absolute **** load.

On topic I have a Nokia phone. I don't know the model, and I'm with Vodafone.

so like i get/recive TOTAL of 12,000. well my highest was 12,500 ish this month was 10,000

and for the record, my x-gf did 40,200 txt in one month =-p

Also, AT&T is Cingular. I got 6k A month of texts, but I have unlimited messages. I pay for that.

I have a Sony Ericsson W810i and I'm on Orange at the moment. I must say, I hardly ever use my phone. It is turned off most of the time.

It's possible XD. I reckon my brother must receive at least 8000 a month.

I have a Sony Ericsson v600i with Vodafone, which is fairly decent. The only person I ever text is my Mum though. <3

LG Tracfone, rofl..

I only use it if I need to. Why pay a **** load if I'm not even going to use it. I only have to pay for the minutes I use with this tracfone.

I use a pre-pay topup service from Tesco and the mobile is a Sendo (about 3-4 yrs old now) with no fancy facilities, no camera etc.

I rarely use it except when I go away from home. Mostly I use texting, especially when I go abroad.

However I do tend to carry it around in case of emergencies.

I use texts. I'm on a £40 packags for 3500 texts a month, and 750 minutes.

The only way I can feasibly imagine anyone sending/receiving 12,000 texts a month is if that was their sole method of communication and they were trapped in some kind of prison 24/7 o.0.

I don't text a great deal, but I've never known anyone when I'm with them to have their phone beep every 3 minutes.

Although it's not just him.. Honestly I don't know how people spend so much time texting people. "wut u up 2?", "o nm"; Repeat with variations of "wut" and occasional replacement with the phrase "wuu2"
