I *was* taught about pixies, fairies, gremlins, etc. in school. :-s

i say this make it an elective. if you want to take it then take it, if you don't then have something else to replace it. as long as the teacher doesn't start going like "you must convert all non-believers" or "kill all that doesn't believe in you" i really don't care

So was I. XD
I guess that completely messes up what you've said motv.

Fairy Tales are read and taught to children at an early age (usually), and they're taught because they hold morals to the story. The boy who cried wolf, for example, there is no proof whether that actually happened - but we all know the story and have probably been affected by it's meaning at some point in our lives. Fairy Tales also have authors.

The Bible, another example, is pretty much the same thing, only some people believe it word for word as fact. Some people take the "morals" and follow them, others simply believe what some old bloke said in the 1800s.

thier are many relgions and many peaple are members of that relgion so if a public school had relgions and did most relgioons but one student's relgion was not thier thier parent may complan and public schools are owned by the country and if they dont do a relgion and some other country is that relgion then may become a war

I think it should. The only reason it wouldn't be good is because some people would pick on and stuff to kids of other religions, since your religion would be known in a school that teaches about them.

I myself am a Christian, and so I believe in The Bible, there is truth in it but I won't go into any detail of things off topic here, as it would result in a flame.

I think it would be good for Religions to be taught, then people would know about Religions and what is *required* in some.

P.S. I hope this topic does not turn into a flame like some Religous topics do.
