exactly is the point of this topic anyway
I have a funny story that I just remembered.
My History teacher has a tendency to change the course of the conversation and we often end up discussing things totally irrelevant. Like Middle age contraceptives, don't ask. Anyway, the topic of birthstones came up, and one guy in the class had never heard of them before and we managed to convince him that it was a stone that was cut out of you when you were born about 3/4 of the way down your back on the left or the right dependent on which hand you write with. And usually babies born without birthstones (which were extremely rare) were killed at birth.
We eventually let in.
