Hmm continuing this. i wont really go to much into recent events, but following my common sense and courtesy and admitted to someone my mistakes and what i did wrong. Well, i do this often, just this time it was to the least expected person..lol

The result, bad mouthing, threats, verbal abuse, assumptions and much more thrown back at me after i admitted what i did wrong and apologized. So basically, im not saying, that all people are like this, but it will show you are a much better person by admitting your wrong. Shows you have respect for others and even yourself and that you are at least mature enough to do it and mean it.

Humans are just so diverse from each other, we cant expect neither want everyone to agree with one persons views. I have many ways of thinking, and unfortunately only maybe 1-3 people know me well enough to understand me and how i think (doesnt mean they agree with me :P).

So when you have people talking online, on forums, messengers etc, they are text words, you cant get the feeling of their emotions used. A simple few words can be easily taken the wrong way. Even if they are taken the wrong way from someone, doesnt mean that they are too sensitive, because the "joke" im referring to was kinda wrong.. Anyways, my point is, even if someone takes a joke seriously, we are all different, you may take a joke seriously yourself, none the less you should be mature enough to apologize to them. Even if you think the joke wasnt series in "your eyes".

Like others have said, this is a good topic, and im glad its not pertaining to one group or subject, im glad here we are all mature enough to discuss this topic, and not argue and so on.

But think about it, in the end, what does an arguement all boil down to, are you trying to just **** the other person off? Are you trying to actually make things better? Really, there is no need or point to argue. It can also really show how immature people can be. We can all be immature, even me yes, not only by in arguements, but sometimes the way i act. I really dislike the people out there, mainly on rs, that just randomly blur out, "omg im so much more mature than you lol olololololooololol, you are a noob, im like 17 so im mature hahahaha" Yes there are many people on rs, and in general everywhere that will act like that..

Ok last paragraph i swear it. About that gangsta, 13 year old kid gangsta wanna-be's. Yeah, i hate that stuff too. Its ridiculous, walking around with their pants to their knees, or ankles..lol Its not a really good image, ends up making you look bad anyway. Most people like that are 2 faced, meaning, they are really someone else, but they act like they are in a gang etc. Just be yourself and be proud to be yourself no matter what anyone thinks.

On the subject of arguing, i think argument is a great thing, it gets peoples true feelings into the open, often in an argument people will, on the spur of the moment, say what they really think and feel. Instead of just holding back our thoughts or feelings as many people do.

Freedom of speech is a right, but naturally certain people will be upset by the views of others, maybe even offended, but i believe this should not stop people expressing there thoughts and opinions anyway.

And yes i agree with Krazzi that when you talk on forums or on messaging clients you are just reading text, and some people can take things you say completely the wrong way, as there is obviously no voice saying it, often it's how things are said, not what is said that leads us to what the meaning behind it is.

And as much as i hate wannabe gangsters and people like that, is it a freedom of opinion which after all, we are all entitled to.

Just my thoughts.

The problem with arguements is that anything said, although it may reflect a feeling, is an extreme of that feeling.

it's kind of like being drunk, anything you say is of course how you feel, but it will be an extremity of how you feel.

so true, soooo true.. most people that do that always try to bring it down to "you have no life" "like omgozors your 20 and playing rs you have no life" "your so immature" etc and so on. Really it gets old.

not sure why people do that, considering they know nothing about you. They really need to read this post and take it to heart, or just be shot, either way would be nice. :P

As long as it's not me thats shooting them I'm fine with it I guess... But I think that's going a little too far so probably not. A lot of people just don't seem to understand anything these days. [-( Fortunately most people at RSB&B know what they're doing.

They say a drunk person will always speak the truth, i believe that's better than being lied too, an extremity of the truth is better than lies.

In most cases that is true, however there are times when the optino to lie would have a better outcome than if you told the truth.

- Your girlfriend asks if you like the dress she bought earlier on today.
- You hate it, but you say it looks beautiful anyway.
- Your girlfriend is happy and it moves on to other, ahem, 'happier' things.

If, you said you hated the dress, imagine the kind of trouble you'd be in then!

If you're girlfriend knows you well enough surely she'll know if you really like it and if you're likely to lie to please her etc etc.?

That wasn't my point though, my point is that there are times when lies can be used to create a better outcome than if the truth was told.

True, but in the long wrong, liers are found out and made to look like fools, being truthful and upfront with people is much better.

I think you just need to know the difference between honesty and lies. Sometimes a particular situation may call for dishonesty, whereas another may require the truth. I suggest you think very carefully which one you select though.

In most circumstances anyway. :)

It all goes down to which people are involved, and whether they actually do want to hear your honest opinion, or want to hear something that will please them.

Not many people will admit to wanting the second, but it is certainly the case with a lot of people.
