If you were given $1 million

What would you do if you were given $1 million and you had to spend it within 24 hours. After you buy things you won't have to make payments or pay taxes on them either. Here's what I would do:

1. Pay off parents' cars and my car (~$28,600 for all 3)
2. Pay off parent's house (~$170,000)
3. Buy an old muscle car ( id spend about $50,000 on it)
4. Do $100,000 worth of work on muscle car
5. Spend $1500 on a new wardrobe
6. Buy a computer (would spend $4000 on it)
7. Buy a gas card for $445,900 for muscle car
8. Donate remaining $200,000 to RSBANDB (why? becuase I can)

Since I have no debt, I'd buy a house, a car, some material things like movies, music, games, clothes, etc. , save a bunch for college and university, ration out money for living expenses for 5 years so I wouldn't need to work while going to school, keep $10,000 for emergencies, and then invest the rest into safe stocks that will likely go up after the recession reverses.

$1 million surely would help to solve my countless problems. I'd buy my current house territory (because I'm only renting it, and it's on sale, My days in this place are counted) and build a new house to stay where I am. Why?...Well, let's just say, I have my reasons.

Also, I'd buy myself a Viper (Cost ~$85 000), The most badass car I ever wanted since I'm 7. I'd also spend about $15 000 on customization.

Then, I'd buy material things like King Kulla said, and save all that I need for college (because I cant afford it. I could work for it, But in next June, I might have to live by myself so I wont have time for college AND work.)

I'd put the rest in a safe and secret place where no body could tell me ''But you have to spend it within 24 hours'' :wink:

invest $500000 to double or triple

spend the rest on ridiculously expensive dailies. maybe instead of cooking i'd eat out for $20 meals three times a day. take a taxi for transport everywhere. buy top-end products even though it may make no difference.

If I had $1,000,000 dollars I would first pay off of my parents debts like cars house etc. I would buy them some new cars because we had 3 and 2 of them stopped working within a month of each other so now we need another. I would put some in a secret account like Iron said and "say" I spent it on something and then keep it in the bank for savings and interest.

I would exchange that for 1 million pennies and then wait for the value of copper to raise and then melt them all down for more money which I would then donate to RSBandB because I am a kind gentleman.

Invest all of it and sit on it, best time to invest in the stock market as things can really go up from here. Well, would have been better a few months ago but still.

Using the rest I'd probably pay for flying lessons to get a private pilots license since its something I've always wanted to do and probably just keep the majority of it for a 'rainy day' as they say.

It all depends what you are investing in, there is still a chance that the company will go bankrupt and you will lose all of your money.

It all depends what you are investing in, there is still a chance that the company will go bankrupt and you will lose all of your money.

If someone gave you 10 million dollars would you want to lose it all? 100M? 1B?

It's good to be prudent with where you put your money, that way you don't have a negative loss. :wink:

I'd use it to pay for four years of college at Maryland Institute College of Art. Tuition is 35,000 alone.It's not fair, I want to go there so bad

well yes, id invest in a stock everyone will still need in the future. im not great in stocks but ive seen places like wal-mart where u can buy some of their stock. that company porbably would be nice since they just keep growing and spreading like a discusting virus (dont like wal-mart too much but if i make money off them that would be alright)
