Just got my braces off :D :D :D

Ya not much to say besides I'm spitting blood and putty out, feels kinda awkward now though. Don't have white squares from not brushing my teeth which is very good. Brushing is much easier now too.

I've had mine on for about half a year now. They hurt when you first get them on but they're fine now. Just part of my everyday life.

an ex gf of mine used to have braces. (i personally have never had them) So she was happy when she got them off. Anyways congrats! =D>

ya a little, I think it was because of all the blood and mold putty though :oops:

Thankfully they had some toothbrushing area in the new office.

Forgot to mention my orthodontist's new office is very nice, the waiting area has 2 360's and 3 PS3's. I was playing BF:BC while I waited and my dad was playing Guitar Hero

I got mine off about a year ago. I got to miss the PSATS and my dad took me out to Subway after ^_^

Are you getting a retainer now? I got one of those clear ones. I guess it's good that it's clear, but when you take it out it tastes really bad. Thankfully I only wear it like once a week at night though.

But yeah, congrats again, I know it must feel awesome.

I got mine off a few years ago. My lower teeth were in front of my upper teeth so I had to have them on for awhile. I was cursed with the evil whiter areas from the braces though. If I ever want my teeth to be all the same color the dentist told me I'll need to go on whitening treatments for basically my whole life.

Currently I have two retainers (one for top row and one for bottom row) but the bottom one's broken and I haven't had them in for about 2 weeks. I only wear them about once a week at night like Veggie Eater, so it isn't too big a deal.

Ya I got a clear retainer and I need it in basically whenever I'm not eating or brushing my teeth. Hopefully that'll change soon.

And have you tried brushing it to get rid of the smell?

XD Of course.
I brush it as soon as I take it out and before I put it in my mouth. I was referring to the taste right after you take it out of your mouth. Disgusting >_<

I currently have to wear something like this:

When I'm sleeping or just relaxing. I have to wear a retainer when I have the headgear on and off to keep my teeth from moving. I've got a brace on my bottom teeth but I can't get one of my top set 'cause of that headgear thingy.
