Now I know most of you define rap/hip-hop as soulja boi, 50 cent, lil wayne, ect. I want to see what everyone thinks about it. I know some of you listen to rap. Not the mainstream **** either. So please, tell me your opinion on artists

It does **** me off when people do the "LOLOLOL RAP? MORE LIEK CRAP" because they don't bother listening to a song for more than 10 seconds. I'm not the best person to ask about this topic. I'm sure zvono has something to contribute.

They're ok songs, but I still wouldn't listen to them. The only kind of rap I don't really like are mainstream rap.
After all, rap is completly different from most music, maybe thats why so many people on here don't like it. :roll:

Its not bad, I just don't like wasting my time listening to it.

Can't add much to this exept for the fact that souja boy's an *******.

The crowd usually comes from those who go "OMFG I BEAT DRAGENFORCE ON EXPERT" so that's pretty self-explanatory.

50cent, Mr snoopy dog and Soulja Prat are what bring the hate towards rap. I like some rap, i cannot stand that idiotic ******* gangster stuff though.

I like some rap songs, i never like a rap artist because there songs are always hit or miss, i like a few and hate the rest.

I can appreciate rap other than Soulja Boy etc. because it's not terrible and it's not a talentless genre. However, most rap is simply not the kind of music I like to listen to.

Like Creepy I will listen to a couple of rap songs but really nothing else by the same artist.

However, I do like other rap artists like Mike Shinoda and Sonny Sandoval.

I have always like some old school hip hop and I will gladly listen to Run DMC, Jurassic 5, Grandmaster Flash, NAS, Beastie Boys, NWA. Emerging from the UK, is a rap genre called grime and I listen to Wiley, Skepta, Skinnyman, JME, Dizzee Rascal, Lethal Bizzle, Mitchell Brothers, The Streets. There are some mainstream rap songs I like but I wont mention them. I am normally an alternative rock/electronica listener but I respect most genres and rap is one of them.

I don't support rap in any way, shape, or form. I admit there are a few good songs out there but most if it is mainstream crap like "I put a cap in his *** then I ****ed his *****". Which is garbo.

Its the same here. I like lots of music, people sometimes stereotype me for liking emo music because of my look, but they could catch me anyday listening to rap. I hate mainstream rap like 50 cent, but some rap is quite good to be honest.

In all honnesty, I used to like rap yet, Before. In fact, I have been brought toward a diffenrent kind of music, Metal. Now I kind of dislike rap, Not because it is necessary bad, But because...It just annoys me. There is actually a Rap singer I tolerate, Tupac (Also known as 2pac). His best song, In my opinion is, 'I dont give a ****' (You can hear it on GTA: SA)

When I liked rap, I was listenning to 50 cent and Snoop Dogg mainly. And also some Chamillionaire.

For the most part I only like Christian rap, for one they use real instruments more often, second no one tries to be "gangsta". My personal favorites are Manafest and KJ-52. (five-two, not fifty-two)

First of all, guys, he asked for an opinion on the songs he posted.

#1 - The style and the beat remind me of GangStarr which is good stuff..
#2 - Great flow, just great track.

Nice choice.
