What do you think would be the worst possible pain?
What is the most pain that has ever been inflicted on you?

EDIT, ABOUT BEING BURNED ALIVE: Actually, in ancient Rome, the tortured Christians by covering them in tar and hot oil, then tying them to a post, and at night, they lit them so they can have lights during the Gladiator fights.

The worst pain I've ever been through was when I was 5-6 and me and and old childhood friend were playing with those elasticated bungee cords you use to fasten things to the top of cars with, the ones that have the little hooks on the end. Well we were playing with those, and sort of playing tug-of-war. Well he let go and his end snapped back and hit my chin, made a nice hole and knocked out three of my bottom teeth. I don't actually remember feeling pain because I went in to shock, but it was very sore and painful for a few weeks after it had been sewn up. I also have a little scar on my chin now as well. Like a little horizontal line between my chin and lip.

I also took a cricket ball to the... balls.. once. That wasn't pleasant.

I'm not sure what I believe is the most excruciatingly feeling ever, the needle in the arch of the foot sounds bad... So does one in the eye.

For me is probably treading barefoot on an upright plug. It hurt like **** for days.

Oh and those who have seen 'There's Something About Mary' ... "WE GOT A BLEEDER!"

I once stepped on an erected nail with my bare foot when I was young, it was like 12 years ago, and I still suffer from consequenses.
I've had a few major accidents, chonologically:
When I was 8 years old, I've fallen off a high tree, head down, plunging into hard soil, no cracked skull, no broken nose, but I had headaches for three years, hematome ftl.
Then when I was 12-13, I rid over a bump with my bycicle, my front wheel disengaged the frame and fell on my chest, which results in choking (as some of you have experienced) I passed away, until some stranger woke me up.
Again, When I was mounting my bycicle, I fell on it and the pedal plunged in my stomach.
Other "sensations" were 12kV shock, NaOH/HCl burn and spasm in my calf.

Being hung on a wall and being starved, until you NEED food, then someone feeds you pieces of your own body, until you have to eat the vital organs, but slowly, so you'll still live. For a while, at least.

Being burned alive wouldn't hurt so much, once the fire had done so much damage, you'd feel very little since it would just burn away your pain receptors and nerve endings.

Worse thing I would say is being eaten alive. Not only do you feel the pain of your body being torn and ripped but you are also WATCHING it.

The most painful thing that happened to me is when I was five I was riding on a four wheeler and we ran into a rope and it sliced my neck. It stung and it kept bleeding for a couple of hours.

You know the feeling you get when you're at work and you'll slip or something and your hand will go on the grill or on a fry basket or something? That pain which you feel for all of a split second before you pull away and stop it? You only feel it for a split second, but it lingers afterwards, i've got evidence on my right arm of it happening just over a week ago, that **** knacked.

Now imagine that feeling you have for the split second all over your body. Everywhere. Until you die. You can't move away from it, it's everywhere.

There is no worse death.

I think I've mutated and grown asbestos hands and arms. I just don't feel it as much anymore. You're probably right, but I'd prefer being burned alive than to be administered venom by a duck-billed platypus. The only venom in the world, I hastent to add, which directly attacks the CNS.

I stepped on a pair of hair straighteners at one point. I had to rip it off of the sole of my foot.

It didn't bleed, but it hurt like hell for a good few hours.
