Haha, I love how all but 1 of the references is to a movie or videogame

i would just go to alcatraz. but i think the biggest problem there would be food. would be very hard to bring enough food to survive that long. and there's no place to grow them.

walmart would be better. they sell weapons. and depending on which store, i can barricade all but 1-2 doors, easy access to the roof or someplace high, and with all the stuff there i can make IEDs

Also a helicopter on the roof for a quick escape.

Just get a zeppelin and stock as much food and other supplies in it as you can.

Then spend a year up in the skies. Last check zombies can't fly.
