I am super hyped for the last film! Sadly I won't see it until 7pm PST because I have a midterm early in the day. It's sad though because I feel like the last film marks the real end of my childhood. Ten+ years of growing up with HP and now it's all ending...tis quite sad for me. I've been hearing great things about it from people over the world who saw it.

Also the thing Rowling hyped up is Pottermore, a site where she'll be releasing extra information about the HP series for the fans, such as info about characters that hasn't been told in the stories, etc. It's not something that she can get more money off of, it's just something else for the fanbase.

I'm going at midnight just like I have for the past 3 movies. Although I can't wait to see it, it's gonna be pretty sad because it's the end of Harry Potter no more books and movies now

It was a fun 10 years though!

That isn't true. She hyped up something on her website for a week or so with a count down. Turned out to be some crappy harry potter thing online. Might as well be fanfiction but you know that's something. Heres her stupid video for it;

Coincidence that this shows up just as the last film comes out and her gold supply runs dry? Course not. You wont be able to get rid of the little four eyed sod hes to much of a gold mine.

I doubt her "gold supply" has run dry - she's still one of the richest people in Britain after all.

Shes the 12th richest woman in the UK. This is true. However you don't shoot your prized cow and you don't stop sponging harry potter till everyones lost interest. Personally i lost that interest long ago and I'd like to see something new from her.

Instead she comes out with her ******* web series. I'd not be so irritated by it but the British press hyped it up for a week. OH well back to game of thrones. Better book.

I thought it was pretty good, but it really didn't feel like a full movie. I know it's part two and everything, but in general it just felt like an elongated action scene. Despite all that, it was a very good ending to a great series. Long live Potter.

It was a good movie but i dont think anything can match to the experience you get through the books.

Dont think ill ever forget harry potter, good chunk of my younger childhood revolved around it.

Lol I read book 1-6 and then half of seven or 1-5 and half of six and seven, I can't remember. I used to like them when I was younger.

Anyways since I watched those I decided I'd try to read them all so I could read the 7th book... since it would probably be better to read them in order before deciding to read the last one since I haven't read any since like grade 6.

So I read the first one and I'm halfway through the second. I have to say, had I not been in grade 4 when I read the first, I don't think i'd have liked it lmao.
But I think it'd be good for me to finish the series because that's kind of dumb not finishing them especially how much I used to enjoy them.

Anyways in all that rambling I won't see the 7th pt2 until I read the 7th and I wont read the 7th until I've reread 1-6 and I won't see the 7th pt2 until I've seen the 7th pt1 and I won't see that until I see the 6th and I won't make any effort to see the 6th soooo. One day.

Haha, who would have thought at the time of me writing that post that I'd actually get to see the final one in theatres? Not me, that's who.
Ya so anyway to update that I finished reading 1-7 last week and I guess at the point of that post I wasn't enjoying it. Maybe the first ones just aren't that good or maybe I was suppressing memories or something but anyways it turns out I didn't read any of Half Blood Prince or the Deathly Hallows. Which kind of sucks that I didn't read them when I got them because, at this point, it turns out the 6th was my favourite book, followed by the 7th. And I feel the same about the series now as I did when only up to Goblet of Fire was written.

Anyways because I watched the movie adaptation of each after rereading them, and I have read the 7th now, and it is Tuesday for half price tickets, and because they are still showing it, I decided to go see it (although the 2 theaters it was still showing at it takes 1 hour to bus there XD). It was really the only film adaptation I really liked too (put together with p.1) so I guess good finish to the series for me.
So I started the movies by seeing the first one in theaters (well twice since my grade 4 class went on a field trip to see it lmao), and now I end it by seeing the last one in theaters, and those are the only ones I went to.
