Break the other two kittens legs so it is fair.

But no, you should keep the cat, there is no reason to kill it just because it only has three legs. Just treat it as kindly as possible and give it the special attention it deserves.

XD I take back what i said and would like to nominate this as the solution. 2 votes on breaking the other kittens legs to make it even.

I'd say keep it alive. She probably will adapt to the missing leg and will probably turn out fine.

Actually new idea get it a wheel. Like those dogs that have mini wheel chairs except just give it one for its front leg and make it so heavy it can't lift it up.

Umm if you had a leg amputated would you rather be killed?

It's really sad but she'll get used to it. It would be cool if she had an owner that was was missing a leg too.

think about the pain it's going to go through the rest of it's life.
i would put it out of the misery it's in.

If you are willing to spend, there are options what you could do. You could get a prosthetic leg put on. It might seem a bit weird to the cat. But, it will increase the mobility and independence,
so that it can walk around.

Personally, i think that "putting things to sleep" should be used only if all other options would not allow the cat to live.

Cheers, dafin0

I've "met" several three-legged cats before, and they get on with life almost as if they had four legs. Sure, some things may not be so easy, but it ill have an equally good quality of life as a "normal" cat. Remember, it's not like us humans losing a leg- cats still have three left- it will quickly get used to it.

The cat will not be in pain for the rest of it's life. I can assure you of that.

As for it's siblings- they'll get over it too. It's still the same cat, and kittens are bound to be less accepting. As they grow up together, they'll get used to it too- just as you would if your friend lost a leg.

The absolute correct decision was made, and that you can be sure of.
