I am getting on a plane with a group of 15 others and flying from Japan. I was just wondering why you said it wasn't possible. I see you changed your mind and realized it was completely possible.

Not sure what you aren't getting here. Being British, as in I, myself, Being in Britain it is not possible. Unless i wish to mug several old lady's to cover the costs of it, in which case I'll find myself in a prison before that little adventure really kicked off, mostly because they'd kick my ***.

I didn't "change my mind", No idea where you got that idea from. o.0 I don't really see how this is relevant to the topic either, I only posted that link to clear it up for whatshisname and just added on a tid bit and now find myself having to explain why it's impossible for me to attend. XD

Hmmm. I can only recommend a dictionary, and possibly remedial reading. Being British does not make it impossible to attend Burning Man (unless you are Amy Winehouse). I can assure you, hopping on a plane to the US and being British are not mutually exclusive, and I am not clear on why you would think so. I though you had seen reality there for a second, but my hopes were shattered with this post.

You are not getting what she is saying, it is impossible for her due to her not having enough money for the plane ride THERE and BACK plus the other money she needs for the festival herself. She can't get that much money in such a short amount of time.

He (Yes, he) clearly pointed to British people, not just himself.

Which is very un-true, because British people CAN - in fact - fly to America.

He actually said "Being British" referring to himself (which is obvious by the use of "being").

That statement is just not true. It is very possible. One of the coolest things about the year 2008 is that where ever you go, there you are. Slim hit the nail on the head.
