I would not want to live forever. I would however like to live a long and wonderful life :wink:

Hey i'm sick of life already, no pain would suck thats the point of life, to hurt and learn... sometimes you might not want to feel pain, but deal with it... definite no from me, eventually it would get so tedious and boring... everyone you know will die...

On the other hand, it would be nice to NOT feel pain, but still be mortal.

Not feeling pain would mean you had no concept of heat and warmth. That means you'd have to constantly monitor your surrounding temperature. If it got too hot, you're body probably wouldn't cope and you just wouldn't notice. I'd say painful death but since you can't feel pain I dunno what it would be like

Death is a scary thought but life is also quite scary. I would not like to live forever but thinking more about it, I realise that our human race may struggle to thrive in an ever changing world with natural unbalance. You would also lose everyone close to you, over and over again.
