I'd say that he is the Luckiest man in the wrold in the sense that he didn't die in all of those accidents and didn't go insane because of those events (watch "When a Stranger Calls" to better understand what I'm talking about), but he also can be called an unlucky man. The reason being, at the end of that article, he stated that he didn't want to test his luck by taking a plane to New Zealand. So in the long run, I'd have to say that for the present and future, he'd have to be quite an unlucky man, but the the most unlucky.
