seen Carbon rising. Carbon Dioxide is clear colourless.
Said smoke clouds would almost certainly have had Carbon Dioxide in them, although you cannot say you have seen the CO2 rising. You can't see the CO2 in peoples' breath, after all.
Anyway.
Is global warming a hoax? No chance. We are pumping pollutants into the atmosphere, we are killing our Ozone layer, the world is heating up. Look here:

When it's released, it's hot, and in the hot state, it is lighter than the cooler air, so it rises. When it gets up there, it cools, but won't go back down, because at the temperature it's at, it's actually lighter than air of the same temperature.
