i got an idea for the best entrance ever.

1: put yourself in a large box.
2: fill said box with dry ice so when opened steam comes out.
3: put all kinds of lights and lasers and other things so as to create a laser show.
4: have a friend bring you in your box into the main area prom will be occuring.
5: when the box is opened you jump out and yell some thing like " the party has arrived"

if done correctly the laser show and steam should look pretty cool when you jump out of the box.
everyone will remember it for years lol.
