Maybe not $2usd but i think we will see a steady price. In northern Indiana bio fuel in a massive operation. Corn is currently $6 a bushel with is up from $3 last summer. Indiana is leading the way in america on bio fuel. We will see a drop in prices when Indiana opens the rest of there Bio Fuel Plants and they start to spread over america. I see Gas and Diesel being around $2.75-$3.00 after bio fuel is released. Bio fuel will be around 50 cents a gallon BTW.

Well, we are losing more and more oil everyday... Supply and Demand, there is less so costs go up.

Why right now...is STILL because of New Orleans. Or I think that is the reason why they skyrocketed.

New Orleans only effected the gas market a week after it happen. Todays gas prices are not because of that. There are two reasons why gas is so high, believe which ever one you want.

The people who hate us, as in America. the have the iron hand in oil exports. They can raise and lower the prices.

The second reason, America has enough oil for its day to day operation. If you ever go to Southern Texas notice the massive oil holding tanks. We do not have enough refinery plants and the ones we have are old and outdated, so we cant process the oil fast enough.

The only way we will ever see a drastic decrease in the price of gas is when it is replaced by something else (which will eventually be inevitable).

There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols

Inevitable, come to Indiana and say that. Bio Diseal is in the same pumps are regular diseal. 50 cents for Bio compared to $3.20 for regular diseal. Corn is being made into Gasoline in northen indiana.

I assume that's per gallon of your "gas"?
Try 2 dollars per litre over here in England then try and complain.

Anyway, by rights it shouldn't go down, Besadon is right, supply and demand...

I mean that we will not be relying on that type of fuel for much longer.
