Even though the developers tried their very best to make those games good, it turned out all crap due to control issues...It upset me that Call of Duty 3 sucked. I guess we have to wait for the next killer-app to step up, aye?

That is mainly due to price; Sony saw that everyone hated the price and everyone screamed robbery, so they lowered it a little.

Don't forget you can store videos! I have Spiderman, Spiderman 2, The entire Band of Brothers series, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 2, Star Wars Episode 5, and the 2005 King Kong in its entirety in MPEG4 format, all ready to roll. Each 2-hour movie is averagely 350 MB; and the quality is not that bad. It has a bigger screen than the iPod video, so don't expect your videos to be small.

It's because of pricing and game quality. Also, there are a lot of Nintendo/DS fanboys who hate the PSP just because it directly competes against Nintendo.

Obviously, it's people who want quality internet gameplay.

Ok but for a little bit more money you can get a class handheld entertainment system, i just think DS is a modern version of a gameboy which does hardly nothing. I understand people who like the PS3 and Xbox360 i think they are both amazing consoles with unreal graphics but to be honest i really dont think the PSP graphics or control are that bad. I played medal of honour and the control worked fine with me, ok there isnt a second joystick but playing on the net was great laugh while at college.

I would say the ranking went like this:

1.Xbox 360
2.PS3
3.Nintendo Wii
4.PSP
5.DS

You have it all wrong.

1. Xbox 360
2. Nintendo Wii
3. DS
4. PSP
5. PS3

Anyway, the controls are not that bad as you say, they are just hard to get used to, if you know what I mean.

To be perfectly honest, I don't see many 12yr old girls asking for a PSP and Medal of Honour for their birthdays this year.

Also, the PSP is more like a hyped GBA than a DS. :P

DS;
- Improved Interactivity; Touch Screen.
- More fun games aimed at a larger target audience. So there's always going to be more people buying it.
- Sleeker, "prettier" design, also available in Pink. XD
- Always been cheaper than the PSP, has more features.
- Compatible with the Wii.
- Backwards compatibility means even more games for the system.

PSP has
- Interactivity like a GBA.
- 360 degree analog thingy.
- Better graphics (I haven't seen it often, but aren't the 64-bit graphics in the NDS and PSP the same?)
- Looks like a GBA only more modern.

It's an iPod squeezed into a portable PS2, not a GBA. For one thing, the screen is bigger. For another, it's alot more fragile.

The PSP has better graphics than the DS, if you choose the right game that is. Just try Burnout Legends and you'll see.

Another thing; most people want a DS because they know their parents don't want t pay $170 for a handheld. My parents only care about quality, not price. Everyone in our family has a PSP except for my mom.

Mario 64/Bros/Kart
Legend of Zelda
Brain Training
Nintendogs
Final Fantasy 5 (and XII later this year)
Yoshi's Island DS
Animal Crossing
Pokemon
Harvest Moon DS
Metroid

The list can go on forever.
There's one main difference between the DS and the PSP which will give the DS victory. Variety. PSP is aimed at the smallest group, DS is aimed at everyone.

Yes, I have nothing to counter that. I agree Sony has no good game franchises; Nintendo has Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc., Microsoft has Halo and Gears of War. What does Sony have? Nothing.

You have to go to Japan and buy the PSX. THEN you are complete. It does exist, you know.
