what was the last EP or LP that you bought, and did you like it?

The last one I got was "Destroyer of the Void" By Blitzen Trapper, they're a sort of folk/alt rock band. I was really happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone.

8/10

The last EP/LP that I obtained was "Rising Sun" by Aly & Fila, they're an Egyptian trance pairing with a really light, airy sound.

It's good stuff, it sounds like last-generation trance occasionally, but the cloudy sound they achieve can be quite nice at times. It's not going to be one of my favorite albums of all times, but it's certainly a very solid addition to my library of 6,500+ (and rapidly growing) choons.

I got the EP from Breathe Electric. It was really good.

Really solid debut LP from a british band that are rising really quickly. I reckon you guys will probably see them on warped next year.

Do you mean like.. Full length album/err.. EP..? xd or do you mean vinyl.
I don't have a record player thingy so I never got any vinyl. SO I WILL ASSUME THE FORMER.

I would say the last EP I "acquired" was The Recovered EP - Propagandhi. But that would be forgetting that I bought it (on iTunes, albeit).

Nothing new on it, Chris Hannah basically found the master tracks of their first 2 recordings and found 3 tracks he felt were good enough to release (that weren't before because they ran out of time or resources) and filled in the blanks on them. One of them is sung by their old bassist who left after Less Talk, More Rock lol!

The only other EP I have is Which Side Are You On? EP - Anti Flag because it came with the People or the Gun when I bought it. It is really bad. I don't even like the People or the Gun that much. WHAT A WASTE OF $.

Last album is In Case We Die - Architecture in Helsinki (Which I got recently, compared to the Propagandhi EP which I bought the day it was released (April 6th).

I am thinking about preordering The Dissent of Man by Bad Religion, though. Doesn't seem too amazing from the 3 songs they've shown in one way or another, though. (One studio version, one performed on their live album, 1 was an acoustic bonus on their last album and they've done a non acoustic one, which they also performed live and put on their live album).

I guess I don't listen to too many bands that release EPs. The only ones I can think of were a local christian band (it was more of a demo than an EP) and The Ransom by Cartel.

I recently discovered that The Veer Union released an Against the Grain EP? Saw it on youtube. I might have to get my hands on that sometime soon. :-k
