So, what you are trying to tell me is : When a popular singer dies, and you wish his creations to be never forgotten by the world, that's called worshipping?
Also what you are trying to tell me is : People who are still sad to see that their favorite musician is dead are mentally sick?
Liking a band alot is considered worshiping?
Then I'm sorry to be abnormal, but I'm proud to say I am a ''worshipper'' of Kurt because he was one of the greatest musician the world knew. And I'm always gonna stand up for that, no matter what people like you say. And I'm surely not the only one to think this.
Kurt Cobain wrote It's better to burn out than to fade away.
He means he'd rather die suddently and people still remembering about him 20 years after than being faded away by the world.
It's like saying people who listen to Michael Jackson nowdays are worshippers.
You know exactly what I meant by 'Worship'. I mean
nothing but Nirvana,
still crying over his death that was like 15 years ago, and trying to get
everyone into Kurt's music and everything. Being sad about his death is one thing, but crying over it still is just stupid. Of course if your favorite band/singer/group died you'd be sad, but you wouldn't be like half of the people I've seen who love Nirvana so much that they just break down when they're talking about them. Family of the deceased band/singer/group are fine to get emotional, but people who have never met him in real life at all, or people who didn't have such a good relationship that they were always talking or something together should just leave it alone.
I'd also like to say that if my favorite band/singer/group died, of course I wouldn't want their work to fade, I'd try to get some people interested in them, but I wouldn't break down about them if they died. I'd just get disappointed because they won't be making any more music.
