What is it with the RS community and mainstream American alt/emo music? Green day, Linkin Park ect all sound protestic to me and ulitmately fail at conveying to me...

I like lots of music but usually its 2 or 3 songs by one artist so I can't count them as favourites.

That's true for me too, I like a lot of bands but some of them I only like a few songs. That's also what stops me from buying entire albums for about 3 songs.

I posted this in another thread about 2 months back. Nothing's changed.

I like all types of music, although I'd say my favourite is rock, with some pop, metal, rap, and techno thrown in. I also like a lot of video game music soundtracks from a lot of the games i like.
