To all the A7X fans out there I just caught wind of the news, James Owen Sullivan aka The Rev, passed away on 12/28/09. R.I.P.

Apparently natural causes. Weird. Pity i liked his song on the last album and he was a good backing vocalist.

Yeah, hopefully we'll see more information in the coming days. Natural causes at the age of 28 just seem unusual.

NOOOOOOOO. I seriously can't believe that, he's so young. Weren't they meant to be putting out a new album this year? And that would've meant a consiquential tour in the UK :(

Natural causes is the word. Frankly in this day and age there isn't much natural about dying aged 28.

And yes they was supposed to be releasing a new album in 2010 i believe. Selfish of him really. I joke i joke. All depends how far along they are with it..he might even be in it.

Anywho he was responsible for this brilliant song;

Spoiler for AO:

RIP

they were all heavy drinkers, and drugs wouldn't surprise me. i respect the rev for his mad drumming skills. double bass drumming as fast as he was(if you know what that is) will be hard. i am glad to say i got to see them live, but the rev was a big part of their band, and they all grew up together. they will never be the same. i just wish i had the opportunity to meet them all in person.

i wish i got the opportunity too see them live more than i did.

Rev does the vocals on the chorus of that song, that song demonstrates just what a great drummer he is.
And the live version:

RIP

Really unexpected. I was waiting for a new album from them too. I don't see how anyone can die from natural causes at 28, I wonder if we'll know what he really died from.

I believe he also wrote the lyrics to Afterlife.

It's pretty sad that he died.
