Since I'm a huge fan of the experience, I have to wonder if you all played with friends or just grouped with random people? It's fun talking about swapping gear, solving puzzles, and the like if you're with a friend or two (and on voice chat). I can see how the experience would be very very lacking without that benefit..

In an interview MMG said the skill was supposed to be released at the best time of the year, however, they've released it so early.
People are working at this time of the year! They can't no life the exp's at this time! So yes, really bad call on the jagex's side. It would be more wise to have it release near the start of June or some date nearby.
Next, The name of the mini-skill.
??????????????
When I first read the news on the front page I was really disappointed. I actually thought it could be another late 1st April joke.

Regardless, I went to the icy fortress. It was stunning, I have to admit. Since the day they put it there, I thought the place was going to be used for a quest or something.

The gameplay is actually good. The game itself explains how you play it. Simple enough.
I don't like the fact that its a team mini-game. I work alone most of the time, so I'll have a hard time adjusting.

Overall, it was an average update. Hate the idea of it being a mini-game/skill. Really hate it. But its fun during the first hours.
It's even.

I won't be training this skill in any near future. But I think it'll be very interesting to see who gets 99 first, and especially who maxes first. Kingduffy has done it before, can he do it again!?

I don't hate this skill as much as I did yesterday. I still don't see what I am exactly training, though.

id give it a 4/5 basically because it is a good minigame, the problems are that this is too much of a minigame and the exp rate is horrible, and having the level 120 max for that skill just ruins the game....

i hate this update lame stupid we all dont really like it
but think of this skill like you are a f2p person not a member
when i thought of the skills this way it all made since
when you are f2p you dont have big boss fight, you never work as a team, and you dont really unlock cool armor
so if i was f2p this skill would be super amazing and fun
so 1/5 member 5/5 f2p

I can't believe Jagex actually made something like this a skill. This is the most ridiculous thing ever. If it had just been another minigame, then cool, I'd be fine with that. I only played a round and a half, but from what I could tell, it was very typical. Also, I noticed I gained experience in other skills (approximately a lot more than I was in the "skill" I was actually training).

I give this a 1/5. For effort.

It's hard to believe that Jagex actually released a worse failure of a skill than Summoning was. Nothing about this alleged "skill" is enjoyable. There is no integration of the skill in the rest of the game. It is isolated from the RuneScape world, and the benefits are exactly the same as several mini-games. This skill is exactly as if Barbarian Assault were to be made a skill.

Okay, well I won't try to bash it like other people have done. It isn't that bad of a skill. In fact, I find it to be fun to play. I haven't had a successful team yet, but I hope to round one up one of these days.
I have not been able to get enough tokens to get the armour; however, ever since barrows I have hated the fact of degrading armour. I stick with my dragon because it is fairly cheap compared to other stuff and it does not degrade.
Also, I have not been able to finish that many games anymore since they are so long. I have to log off and start all over again and I don't get any experience for it. Could they not give a bit of experience per room you open up? Or is that now allowed to their code of conduct.
I will give it a 3/5 for a minigame. Since it is undeserving to be a skill, I will not even give it a rating as a skill.

I don't even consider it a skill, it's more of a mini-game. The glitches and bugs should/need to get solved ASAP like if your team leaves you, you can't finish? It sucks. I mean look at the xp rates. It takes what half a day to get to level 8? I'm a combat skiller, but I won't be training this anytime soon...

I gave it a 2/5.

Well i have played WOW for a long time and what i see in this skill is Runescape (just like most games) now copying something of WOW and try to take some of it's success for themselves. Unfortunately it did not turn out well for them. I also agree with the hosts that it is much more like a minigame and i honestly cannot see myself "training" it.

I voted 4.
The concept and the way they maked the skill is really great.
It's also great that the experience isn't fast.

Sadly it's not really that rewarding and it takes a lot of time to actually get 1 of the lower level reward.
Also the name is crap,
If they called it dungeon raiding then it would make much more sence.
It would also be great if you got experience for how much of recourses you find and process on the floor.

Why get a 99 quickly when you can enjoy the skill for a longer time and make a lot of money in the process?

5/5 on the new skill
My reasons are this:
1: It makes runescape combat (training) fun. Before this, runescape combat bored me. I could barley stand getting attack to 60, slayer makes it easier, but it can still get old. This is something completely new, and the xp is decent for ALL skills. (except for runecrafting)
2: It is challenging. Before this, runescape combat was almost all the same. (Click, Attack, Eat, Special attack, Eat, Rinse & repeat.) But now, I have faced 4 bosses and they were all different. One could pray and freeze you, one ate halfway through, one had a speial attack that almost killed me from 600 hp! Not to mention you have to use bad armor and weapons, and have limited food during fights. I loved it.
3: Social. Before this, it was almost impossible to train skills together. Now it's even fun!

Those were just a few reasons why I like the new skill.

Also, I have played wow, and they aren't ripping wow off very much. this, in my opinion, is the runescape equivalent of a party system.

Thanks.

FAIL Jagex.
"Skill" Aspects...
1. Rewards- Some of the rewards are pretty nice actually, except for the ridiculously expensive weapons. Although, I think the rewards all have too high prices. 3/5
2. Fun???- *Cough* 1/5
3. Interaction- I guess playing this "skill" is okay if you're doing it with friends. 3/5
4. Location- Al Kharid has to be the most random place for Fremminik warriors to be.... 0/5
5. Adaptability- None whatsoever. You can ONLY use dungeoneering in Daemonheim. 0/5
6. Involvement- Pretty intense, you pretty much have to be focused playing this game, no matter how boring it is. 4/5
7. Bosses- I Like the bosses. 5/5
8. Time- take 20 minutes to get 140 exp at the beginning... FAIL 1/5
9. Graphics- Good, but repetitive- 3/5
10. Overall experience? A waste of time and effort. I lost an hour of my life. 2/5

So I give dungeoneering a 2.2/5 [-X
