Also this week, we find an unlikely pairing of graphical improvements...

From Pirates' Cove in the north-west to Mos Le'Harmless in the south-east, pirates everywhere are rejoicing as they unpack shipments of stunning new clothes and fashion accessories. Decked out in their new jackets, tricorns hats, hooks, peg-legs and caps, the pirates of RuneScape have never looked more... um... piratey. So, the next time you're fighting for your life against one of these fearsome swashbuckling seafarers, take a moment to admire their outfits.

The children of RuneScape have also been given a bit of a makeover. Check out the slouch of Wilough and Shilop in Varrock, the shifty eyes of the Urchin in Pollnivneach, or maybe the anaemic pallor of Smiddi Ryak as she fights for her life on her Trek to Paterdomus. No matter whether they have been naughty or nice, the little scamps have all received a fresh new look.

I signed on to do this one, got easy done, and can't do the rest.

The Varrock armor looks lame up untill 3.

I have only seen the easy varrock armor but I know that they have some really good effects. Chances of getting more bars while smithing, faster smithing and such. I like that

The way the varrock armour works, is that you have the chance to smelt two of your bars at the same time. You do not get two pars for one ore. I assume that it is a bigger chance when wearing a better armour.

I haven't yet tested out the other effects of the armour. But it is known that Aubrey's Rune Shop does not give discounts when wearing the armour.

I voted a 4/5. There's some hard tasks in there, and quite a lot of them too. The rewards are very good this time around, and should help with smithing, albeit minimally.

4/5, there are some challenging and time consuming things in there unfoutunatly I have to say goodbye to clarence the overly fat hellcat in order to finish the medium task

Why? None of my cats died, and I didn't even have to complete rat catchers to do the medium tasks; just start it.

Unforuteatly, level three's can't do any combat therefor, the level medium and hard are impossible for them.

I voted 4/5 on this. I've been longing for the Varrock Achievement Diary, but when I read it I thought 'Dang its hard'.

To get both Medium and Hard, there are quests/levels which require combat.
