Exactly, and the Dark Bow gives +90 rather than +69.
If people just thought for a moment, Jagex wouldn't make such an over-hyped weapon crap on purpose. They had to analyse what people wanted and make it fit into the game without the need to nerf it later on.

Sure, the Dark Bow is slow. But it fires two arrows at once (effectively, it would do the same damage if the speed was doubled and shots were halved.) and it's power is much higher than an MSB. It's special never misses and hits two arrows, making the special better than the MSB again.

People need to stop assuming things, and figure out the uses of the weapon.

£10 says it gets nerfed if it's hitting that hahaha

Although saying that if what south is saying is true and it really is that stupidly slow, no pker would be able to live in range armour+dark bow against a meleer with a whip. XD He'd get owned.

Really is striking me as a lousey weapon, i don't think it's going to stay pricey to long i forsee another D2H.

I guess time will tell on this one.

*Sigh* Nobody is ever happy. Everyone can find a flaw, claiming one is more powerful than another. Jagex just can't win trying to please people. :cry:

Yeah, I don't see people saying that Dharoks is way to slow to use, a lot of people love it. I really want a Dark Bow Right now.

the other thing that is wonderfull about longbows that people don't seem to understand, it their healing bonus... because they take so much time to shoot again, you have time to eat an entire unit of food between shots without disrupting your firing rate. because it fires 2 shots, if you're hitting high, then your opponent will have to eat to waste at least one of their shots on you, and effectively cuts their firing rate down closer to yours.

and because the dark bow shoots 2 arrows per shot, it maintains the damage rate on an msb, but adds that healing opporotunity. plus the special still fires 2 shots, but adds the mlb spec to it (sure to hit), sp when it comes down to it, the dark bow is the best of both worlds. long range, healing opp, acc spec, crossed with high average fireing rate, higher accuracy than any other bow, and a damage increasing spec. no matter what others say, you really can't go wrong. new fight caves wep of choice?

but my favorite part about the dark bow, is that it isn't only marginally better than the second best weapon, like the whip is to the dragon scimitar... so it'll be popular more for its power than its rarity, rather than its rarity over its power as the whip is. at least, thats how i see it...
