How do you feel about Lucky Chaotic Items pending to be introduced into the game? I assume it's going to be a Treasure Hunter promotion some point soon. The evidence for this is evident in QuickChat, if you look under the menu 'I like you item ...'
Personally I think it's just not right of them to do this D:. I may not be a member but I can appreciate the effort that people put in to obtain an
untradeable chaotic weapon after all that work, and to have it bought/handed off Treasure Hunter...
With Godswords fine, you could liken it to the odds of someone handing you a free AGS off the streets of W2, or in a drop party. Unlikely, but plausible. However, Chaotics are not the kind of thing that fall from the sky! There is also quite evidently a broken version of each, so I wonder how we're going to repair them. Tape them up with spin tickets, perhaps? Lucky weapons started off as barely useful cosmetics and are now working themselves into the t80 range...natural progression to drygores does not seem out of the question at this point and I find that disturbing.
Also to contribute some media to this topic I figured I might as well include this image of some new database sprites (not my find, of course, but nonetheless worth sharing).
I guess I've ranted on long enough. What do you guys think about this?
