Is Members Reeeaaaallly Worth It?

I have just had my membership screwed over and I a f2p again, but I have started to ask myself if it was worth it.

Son I am asking YOU "Is Members Reeeaaaallly Worth It?"

yeah runescape sucks without it... I guess if you had stats under 50 F2P wouldn't be too bad for the time being though.

Well, I was a free player 2/3 of my Runescape play time and now I know, it is totally worth to be a member. I do not feel the magic in the game without it anymore. Maybe, if you have never been one, it is good in free world too

Membership is only worth it if you are doing members things, doing something in members that you can do in f2p is just a waste of membership.

I disagree. I can mine in F2P and P2P but doing it in P2P is much more worthwhile because theres better training methods and better equipment.

Regular updates are a huge part of what keeps the game playable for me and you just don't get that as a free player.

Yes, by far.
Expanded Game map, more quests, unique awards, helpful community and a range of different activites. What more could you ask for from a java based game

I meant doing something like chopping yews in members is a waste of time. Or mining non concentrated coal.

Yeah but yews in F2P are really crowded plus P2P has better spots for yews. Same for mining coal, the best place for that would be the mining guild? But in P2P you get the coal trucks (is that still the best place for it or was it even ever XD)

Maybe if you were getting 99 firemaking off of maples, though.

Runescape without Members is like having a doorbell without having a house to live in.

However, be warned that you will almost instantly become addicted. On your first day of membership, don't even be surprised if you play 7 hours+. You need an amazing will power of steel to play Runescape P2P in a healthy way.
