Champion scrolls

I recently got my first scroll and wanted to get others... But I went online and found out that u only have a 1 in 5000 chance of getting one from any of the 13 races... I was wondering if there was any race that had a better chance... And who else thinks that the odds should b higher?

I'm not sure if any have a higher chance than others but you are very very lucky if you got just one XD

I definitely think they should be higher chances for all of them because to me they're like not even part of the game since they're uncommon.

That's how I feel... They barely contribute to the game... And I think it really takes more then 5k kills cause I didn't get til bout my 15000th kill of hillies

Its not really something to aim for, I have gotten 2 from chance.
Its more just a "Wow, OMG, did i just get that??!?!?!?"

I've only gotten one champion scroll in all the time I've played. When I was first exploring the wilderness portion of the edgeville dungeon, I killed a few earth warriors and got a scroll drop. There's been several occasions where I trained combat on scroll dropper's just to try and get one, but no luck.

I do think they should change the odd's a bit, to give more players the experience. Either that, or have some type of reward that makes the scroll more special, being such a rare thing to receive.

They did add the banner carrier, who looks mighty cool.

For the most part champion scrolls are quite rare. I myself have had 3. 1 from hobgoblins, 1 from skeletons, and 1 from abberant spectres. Which is amazing because they're said to be one of the rarest droppers. Gotta love slayer.

i remember when it was first introduced. i spent hours just killing hobgoblins until i got one. got me quite a few limproots though

i wouldn't reccomend really going for them...its so hard to get one. I got an abby spec one from slayer and had no idea wat is was because they were pretty much forgotten lol...i got mine in about 2k kills though =D

didnt see this topic when first made but since its back from the 3 month grave..

just wanted to add i have had one skeleton scroll because out of some randomness i killed one in edgeville wilderness and was like "zomg!! thats crazy!"

Would like to add this cool little tid bit of information: Collecting champion scrolls was the last thing the original Zezima had a goal for in runescape. I guess he quit because of the rarity because i never heard anything more of him doing anything on runescape after that.

If it's rare stuff you're after, they don't come much rarer than a XIII banner imp. Personally, I've only had the goblin scroll after a few days of killing them. I still murder imps if they're in my path, just in case they drop one.

Never gotten one and I don't really want one lol, a little imp following me around runescape wouldn't be much help but I guess it would be cool, but to answer your question maybe you should kill the monsters that are easier to kill, like goblins.

I did not know that the chances are 1 in 5,000.
No wonder I've never gotten one... When they first came out was really the only time I really tried to get one. But given up, kinda forgotten about them till now. Maybe if I can mange to find enough free time I'll give it another attempt. At least 1 would be nice... little accomplishment.

I've only obtained one, which was that of a lesser demon

. I waited a few months, maybe even a year before I finally did it. I've killed nearly every imp I could find in my adventures since then, and a flier is the closest I've been to their scroll. What makes this cool is the randomness though, I don't find much sense in just going all-out and hunting for scrolls either ^^.

it's almost impossible to get one. i think they should add more monsters to the list but who knows.
