So i have few concerns that im worried about at the moment.
Seeing that most runescape players are quite young and runescape is currently too hard, many skills are too complicated and taking lots of work in the mind to sort them out to be able to lvl them and most kids dont have the time to play runescape all day when they are busy with school, friends and social life i just feel that runescape currently isnt enough child friendly, there is many things that can make younger runescape players feel frustrated, sad, and upset and so on.

How to fix the issues?

- Fix death in runescape, when you die you should get a box that says " You have died are you sure you want to die? "
On the box you can answer " yes " or " no " depending if you want to die or not, answering yes will make you back into full health and answering no you will get into death spawn place, this is because younger players can get very upset and sad when they die and lose the items they have worked very hard and long time, so its not fair.

- Quests currently are too complicated and hard and it shouldnt be like this, so i want the quest giver to have an another option " Hello, i find this quest too hard and i cannot finish it " by taking this option you get the quest done without having to do the quest, or you can do the quest normally if you wish to, this would reduce the frustration caused by too hard quests on the game.

- Pvp worlds are too risky to lose items currently, i suggest to put an option " Request fight " this option will request a fight with the other player if he wants to fight or not, and after the fight the loser wont die but instead the fighters can have a good laugh about it!

- Chatting is too dangerous! People are being scammed and cheated and herassed in the game, this can do harm on younger peoples mind, so remove chat from the game and make it so you can only use quick chat, this would be much safer solution.

- Too scary monsters, some monsters in the game are too scary looking, even i get nightmares about them after seeing them in the game, so please do something to make them look less scary and less scary sounding, may i suggest using cuter colors and sounds.

- Getting rare items takes too long time and people dont even get them always, so my suggestion is to make an chat option with the monster and tell it to drop the item you want.

- Discontinued items are way too exspensive, new or people that have played for a while there is no way they can buy it in the game ever, so please make discontinued items spawn randomly in lumpridge.

- Current fighting system in runescape can cause kids to make feel angry and affect their behaviour in a bad ways ( killing is bad ) so please remove fighting from the game and replace it with, cuddle and tickle options, works same as combat but instead you do these, much nicer option from my point of view.

- Merchanters ruins the game for people so remove trading from the game and transform GE into a shop where you can buy any items and the prices are always same and infinite stock for all items.

- If you dont want to remove the chat option as i suggested in other part, do a system that transforms all negative talk into a positive talk, so there would be no flaming or bad behaviour in the game.

- Highscores are not fair right now, some people has more time to play doesnt mean they should be 1st on list because of that, so make highscores so it will look like the player ( you ) are 1th on the list, this makes people feel better.

- Making money in the game is beyond ridiculous at the moment, it can take month to get 1 million coins which is just insane, so i suggest an npc called " Richy Richie " he is the richest person in runescape and talking to him you have an option " Beg " using it you have 85% change to get 1 million coins for free, this would make the game more fair for people that dont have much time.

- Some places has too dark feeling, so please more flowers, bright colors and cute stuff on the game.

- Skills too slow to lvl it takes like 5 year to get 99 skill thats impossible, so please make it so doing anything on any skill that gives xp, there is 75% change to get 1 mill xp

- Skillcapes cause people to get jealous, so please make it possible to lend/borrow skillcapes so people dont have to feel noob for not having skill capes. ( Thanks steegol for the idea ).

- Emote " kiss " is disturbing, just eww eww eww... i dont want players to kiss me its shocking and i bet most people find it the same also so please remove it.

Thanks for reading, just trying to make the game better for everyone.

At first I was like "WTH? Just quit if you'd like a land of flowers and pink polka dotted ponies instead!". After reading a few pages into the thread the original poster said it was a joke. Thought y'all might like to read it though.

I've seen this thread some days ago. Made me laugh a bit.
What's your problem identifying the joke?

I saw this a few days ago. It made me chuckle. If anything though, runescape is TOO child friendly.

For a second i thought that someone actually meant this. But then i read some more and thought "If this isn't a joke, then i am going to hunt that person down". Because some of those things are just to ridiculous to be true :O And when i read "Supporters list is to large" (or whatever it says) i thought "WHAT?!"

But where did you found it?

When i just skimmed through it, I was also like "WTH?" but then i read it and also realized it was a joke. Lending people skillcapes *Fail*, asking monsters for rare drops *fail*. If JAGeX ever does ANY of the stuff suggested, I think I'd quit and go to EVE Online.

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much." And spread his arms out on the cross and died. If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.

Unfortunately I've seen some members in game that would actually post this... :|

Yea, somethings are way too 'kiddy'.

I'd quit. Would probably play DDO, Diablo, or AOEIII.

They all seemed like perfectly good suggestions.

If this isn't a joke, I am truly surprised. This is the stupidist thing. Quests being to hard? Thats the beauty of the game. And how unfair would it be if you could skip the quest all together and then reap the benifits? Monsters being to scary? You have to be 13 to play the game anyway! What 13 year old is scared of an animated monster. This person is joking I hope, because this list is ridiculous, and there is no way there will be any support for this. If there is I don't know where the runescape community went.

Wow, seriously :o
Jagex needs to make things harder, skills more interactive, make items cost more and make the next skill maximum XP/h under 20k. Never knew people could have so different views about this :|

its purely making fun of people who rant.

I think its quite hilarious because if anyone does agree with them they need to quit and find some childish game where u can look up cheats and go through the levels fast.

there should be a set of rules for forum ranting. All i see is people ranting about subjects that they can't back up with facts.

problem:

concrete reason to change:

that's stupid. this game is meant for people 13+ it even says it to make an account. if your gonna play a game for teenagers, you should act like one.

calm down, it's just a joke making fun of how childish runescape sometimes seems, don't get so worked up about it. Getting worked up over this is like getting worked up about the book 1984, basically, an example of what could happen and not what is going to happen.
