Fishing VS. Woodcutting

I have both woodcutting and fishing at 99 now, and I was wondering what you like or dislike about the two. They were both easy for me to get and I almost enjoyed it. They are both afk skills so thats why I like them. What about you guys?

after i get 99 woodcutting im considering going for 99 fishing

i think they are both great skill's and they also can make a fair bit of cash

I personaly like woodcutting better.. I dont know why but i always have raised woodcutting first. It has some sort of sentmental value due to the fact its one of the first skills i enjoyed.. I hated mining...

Woodcutting is okay, not my favorite. I like fishing. I should fish more...

I like both equally I'd have to say. I enjoy everything about the game, to be honest, and I particularly like Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Runecrafting, Cooking, Fletching and Crafting.

When it comes to differences between them, I'd say they're both really similar. Now that JaGex released Ivy it's pretty similar to fishing Leaping fish, Barbarian style. I'd say both skills make around the same money, with the most challenging product from either being acheiveable at 76 in each skill. Except that when you cut wood, you can make bows and High Alchemy them. Fish can be sold for money or used to fight. So I guess personally playing style has an influence on which you prefer.

I find both relaxing and useful.

Right now I prefer woodcutting over fishing, as it will help me finish off 99 fletching goal (about time) and its cheap magic experience alching bows =D Trains quite a lot if you can bother.

Fishing was pretty fun but the fishing spots are smaller than big trees lol. Only helps with cooking if you want to cook your fish, which I didn't do (ironically) xD

All in all, long but easy skills to boost total level and experience - also providing materials to boost more experience in fletching and cooking!

Fishing. Trees die too fast.

Reventon, people just fish\wc for the cape or because they want to afk while making money.

Gotta love fishing, although it took longer than woodcutting. Fishing is really enjoyable, hearing the sound of water waves instead of chop chop chop. I afk both of them also, usually playing psp or msn. Woodcutting isn't that bad, but its really fast xp now so I don't have enough time to afk X D.

Woodcutting has to be my all time favorite skill, the first 1 i got to 50 you can make a decent amount of money too i guess
