Banned? What? Why?

I have recently been permanently banned for macroing. I received a short warning and ban back in January for the same reasons, with no proof.
So, before I go on I would like to say that I have not used any third party programs that would give me an unfair advantage in the game. Now I ask, why the hell have I been permanently banned for macroing? At least they sent this message:

Maybe player support has improved since January, because last time they only said I broke a rule and basically told me ******* we don't need to tell you why.
I also think this was due to me logging in from several different IP addresses across different motels and friends houses through California and Oregon, I explained this and am now awaiting a response. Hopefully Jagex customer support now does more supporting and has less of a "**** you, your banned" attitude.
Anyone else have some thoughts on this?

i dont think it has to do with your ip stuff
cause i play rs at all my friends houses

Have you 26ked or 76 w/e it is.. that everybody does, not against the rules but Jagex frown upon it.
Did a lot of mindless fishing. ( watching youtube vids while fishing) that's breaking the rules which I no longer do that one.

Joined a Merch Clan? ( wefiteGe ) I would ban people for that myself. lol

wow, i feel ur pain same thing happened to me my main i had for 5 years was banned.... but check these stats out from just 3 months with this acc =).......life goes on =(

problem is, when i restarted, my friend gave away 200k to help me out, AND merchanting wasn't limited to merch clans to make 5% gain everyday. I was able to turn 200k to 1m within 2 or 3 days merchanting limpwurt roots (buy 400 ea in f2p sell 1k ea in p2p)

i have no idea how you're gonna get back to your feet in these times, but i bid you good luck.

Could it be that your account was hijacked? I tend not to use my RuneScape account from other people's computers as you can't tell whether they're infected with keylogging software.

Jagex say they can't give their evidence of rule breaking for macroing because people could find a way to get around the security with the information they give out.
