What do you guys think about the Barrow's armor?

I myself have never owned a set, I don't have 70 defence.. But people have told me that they're fairly good.

They are pretty good for 70ish defender's even though I could still hit 40's with my BGS on Torags armour. Torag seems to protect from whip attacks pretty well too. I find Karils not that good though, I usually buy saradomin d'hide armour for ranging.

yeah they are pretty good if you dont have alot of money because they are pretty cheap. You can use them all the way up to level 100+ and wont feel like a noob, Some are better than others yes but for Pvp always go with Veracs! :mrgreen:

Torags and dharoks are great for wearing with your weapons, obviously get a good shield too. When you are on slayer tasks always wear the slayer mask/helmet though.

guthan is amazing cause you get to heal yourself so its good for slayer

I like(d) my Torag's because it was a good take-around armor, like a step up from rune. As long as you have a Ring of Life, its just a good armor to build your outfit around.

Barrows in general is quite worth the money. You can complain about having to fix it, but as long as you're not killing chickens, you can gain that money back quite quickly.

If you're using something like Guthan for the set effect, you'll be quite thankful that you bought the full set. If you're wanting to just have the defensive boosts, stick with any of the melee brother's armor (excluding Verac) for Melee boosts, and Ahrim for magic. If you're going to range, don't use Karil, but do use Karil for Magic Defensive armor.

Other than Karils they're great for your stats. I like the look of them as well, especially Guthans.

They're good for specific activities.. If you use them for everyday use it can get expensive in my opinion.

I use torags,veracs,ahrims,and karils alot. guthans i dont use so much cause i have summonign familiars. and dh i dont see any use for it.

I love all Barrows armor, here's why

Ahrim - Beast mage attack bonus on the top and bottoms
Karil - Great affordable mage defence
Guthan - Was better before summoning, but this baby saved me so much food and helped me through fight caves

Torag - Great defence on it!
Verac - Good fight pray noobs in PvP games

Dharok - Who can deny their love for the huge hits at low hp?
