X-mas 2008

So, since you cant give people extravagant gifts of RuneScape now, since the trade limit, what do you think will happen for x-mas this year?

I think that Jagex will make it so that, ONLY on x-mas day, the trade limit will not exist so that people can give each other gifts.

Also, another idea I had is that jagex will have a xmas store, were you can buy expensive gifts for people, and you can only buy them that day. The people u give them to can not trade them.

Just some idea, What do you think.

I don't think that Jagex will ever make it so there will be a day when people can exchange because there are so many people out there waiting for one day so they can sell money to their friends and what not.

why would you buy a expensive item for someone
i guess i dont like people that much.
maybe for my girlfriend since she also playes runescape.
But dont get your hopes up, I dont see jagex doing this.

idk, i use to give away about 500k-1.5M every x mas to friends, or random people. It was fun

I can see them raising the trade limit maybe, but I doubt they'll fully remove it, because then RWT will take advantage of it if they do it in the following years.

I can't see Jagex doing anything for x-mas other than the normal events. RWTers probably have some accounts with quite abit of gp on them still so I think that there would be mass real world trading for a day and even for that period of time that could have huge effects on the balance of gp in runescape

What's nicer then to give your friend a huge hug while saying; merry X-mas!

Give him a flower in trade as a sign of friendship.

I agree with Penoze, giving e-hugs own. And I'm sure many people will appriciate them. I know I certainly do.

As for Jagex taking the trade limit off for Christmas I really don't think they will do it. As other people have said it would be the cause of mass-RWTing, which of course isn't good for many of us, it will affect the prices of many things, even if it is for one day.

I kinda have to agree with that too since it's only one day out of the entire year.
