I think Jagex should just make it multi combat area only if you are doing lootshare. But if you're not, then it shouldn't be multi-combat area...

As I've commented previously to various people, I think the people who whine when I have a cannon are basically saying:

Now, I always find a free world if I'm going to cannon (or anything for that matter). So it's not like I'm crashing anyone, it's more them crashing me. Anyways, I find crashing to cannon the same as crashing without a cannon. Many of the people who whine at me probably would of came and crashed me if I didn't have a cannon anyways.

I don't think removing cannons will solve any problem like this. Soon the hate toward those who can afford to train efficiently would shift to those who can catch the monsters faster than you. What I think is needed is new worlds or more training areas that are relatively the same speed to train as others. Not necessarily better training areas, they would just be crowded and the old ones emptied, and the problems would still be there.

Unless he's the type of person to call me a "hardcore ***" because I enjoy efficient XP, I wasn't directing that at him. As I said:

And when I say afford, I don't just mean the cannon, I mean the cannon balls. And afford is on a person to person basis, you can have a 100M and still not afford to cannon, or you can be bankrupt and still afford to cannon (i.e Connor).

Cannoning provides insanely faster XP, especially for slayer. If you looked at the XP rates and the cost, and establish that you can afford it, you would probably do it the way that saves a lot of time, depending on other restrictions: need of HP XP, you're a pure and value you strength xp over range, saving for something really expensive, etc.

Both statements "people with cannons are stupid" and "you have no money if you hate cannoners" can be false. But I think they both have the right to think it.

Stupid in the sense that it doesn't fit with the other weapons in the game. But it is useful and as long as it is available then why not make best use of it. The same could actually be said about Chins and using them against the skeletons.

Its annoying to be training and see someone set up a cannon. I'd prefer that you had to make your own cannonballs to use a cannon and make cballs untradeable. Doesn't prevent you from using a cannon but you have to work for it.

At least then I wouldn't feel like they were buying xp.

Cannons are great, I use mine when I feel like burning some money off for some fast ranged/slayer xp and I never steal anyones spot although I refuse to switch worlds if someone comes alone and yells at me to switch when I was there first.

I think Jagex made a legal "cheat" when they put them out. I don't like them, never used one, and never will.
